Mission and Vision

Mission. BWI's mission is to make education the foundation of lasting change. We believe a community's health, food security and environmental resilience all start with what its people are equipped to know and do - so we pair applied research with practical tools and hands-on capacity-building, strengthening learning at every level, from the classroom to the research institution.

Vision. We envision a world where every learner, regardless of background, has access to a quality education - and where that education gives communities the knowledge and tools to manage their own health, food systems and environment for generations to come.
